Whole30 Day 4: I Can Do This...I Think

Another early day. Every day this week I have had to be up early, and all I have wanted to do is sleep. But today was training day.  My regular trainer is out of town, so someone else filled in. The workout was quite a bit easier than normal. I suppose, given my current weaker state,  that’s a good thing.

After my session, Jared had his. He came home to Taco Bowls for lunch. Soooo Yummy. Lettuce, broccoli slaw, taco meat with my homemade seasoning, sautéed peppers and onions, tomatoes, and black olives. Topped it off with a little salsa. The broccoli slaw gave it a little crunch….but nothing really beats tortilla chips. My husband liked it.

We once again ventured out on a walk with Prince Buddy. This time it felt less awful and more normal.  This was followed by,once again, both of us falling asleep in the livingroom.

With my battery recharged, I peeled potatoes for dinner, cut up the pineapples, and organized the fridge. I swear you have to be organized and proactive when on a round of Whole30. It’s the only way to succeed stress free.

Dinner was beef tenderloin with onions and mushrooms accompanied by smashed potatoes topped with clarified butter. Man this really sucks (that was sarcasm).

It's once again time to settle in for the night. I am so ready for the weekend.
